The bidirectional acceleration histories of the artificial earthquakes are available for download on the IDEER competition website.
The level of peak ground acceleration (PGA) is denoted in the file name, as is the type of motion recorded (Accel stands for acceleration).
The first column in the file indicates the time stamps (in seconds) with a time interval of 1/256 seconds; the second and third columns contain the recorded motion along the N-S and E-W directions, respectively. These two directions are graphically indicated in the competition rules document. In the files, acceleration is measured in gal.
